The IAM division operates within the Cyber Security sector at Nordea. Our department delivers centralized IAM solutions and standardized services to support Nordea's workforce and systems. Our goal is to bolster the bank's security posture and serve as the primary contact for all units seeking these services.
As an Access Management Specialist with architectural expertise, your primary responsibilities will include advancing, developing, and integrating the Access Management framework at Nordea. We are looking for a colleague who can assist with stakeholder engagement, architectural and design documentation, and the design of the future Access Management framework in accordance with Nordea Group Architecture standards. Key functionalities you will engage with include, but are not limited to: Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Federation (SAML, OIDC), Authorization (RBAC, ABAC), and Access Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver architecture and design documentation Assist in the creation and documentation of processes and use cases Collaborate on the future Access Management framework in alignment with evolving business needs, compliance mandates, security guidelines, and policies Serve as a technical expert and mentor Work closely with colleagues and share knowledge If time permits, support colleagues in your secondary area of expertise (e.g., development, analysis)This role is based in modern offices, with the option for partial remote work. Please note that candidates should already be located in the country of hire.

Have extensive experience in IT architecture Possess senior/expert-level experience in Access Management Have a keen interest in Cyber Security and related technologies Focus on end-to-end, future-proof solutions, adhering to best practices Are proactive, constructive, and possess a strong driving force Demonstrate strong technical skills and documentation abilities Can effectively communicate technical concepts to both business and technical audiences Are fluent in English (both spoken and written)Your experience and background:
Several years of proven experience with access management solutions (including Single Sign-On, Reverse Proxy Server, Multi-Factor Authentication, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2) Familiarity with SAML Identity Federation, LDAP, Oracle DB, Kerberos, and RADIUS Knowledge of identity security best practices for both on-premises and cloud environments Understanding of fundamental security principles (such as Segregation of Duties, Least Privilege, Zero Trust) Previous experience in a DevOps team within an Agile/Scrum framework Knowledge of IT processes and the system development life cycle Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and scripting Security certifications are advantageousIf this aligns with your skills and aspirations, we encourage you to reach out.
