Job Description
As a postdoctoral fellow in prehistoric archaeology, you will contribute to the project SCAPES at the Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo. The successful candidate will take part in the project Social Complexity and Population Entanglements in Norway 2500-1000 BCE: Understanding new bimolecular datasets through a humanist lens.

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher with a strong academic background in prehistoric archaeology or a related field. You will work closely with the project team to investigate sedentism and ritualization, as well as mobility and facilitating technologies. Your main contributions will be split between WP2 and WP3, with a particular responsibility for data collection and management, spatial analysis/modelling and maps.

You will join a research environment comprising six academic partners and a project team of ten researchers. As a postdoctoral fellow, you will have the opportunity to develop an independent project, but you will also be expected to collaborate with the project group on various tasks, including data collection, spatial analysis, and dissemination of project results.
