Lead Cloud Backend Developer

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Cloud Backend Developer in Oslo, Norway, where you'll work closely with our cloud team on Pixotope's cutting-edge licensing and software distribution platform, Pixotope Cloud.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate Pixotope Cloud with existing solutions such as Zendesk and HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with solution partners to leverage available APIs and functionalities.
  • Ensure a unified 'Source of Truth' for our operations.
  • Engage in both backend and frontend tasks, utilizing Javascript/Typescript, Java or Rust as needed.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
  2. 5+ years of development experience.
  3. 3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technology (e.g. ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, EKS, CloudFormation).
  4. Proficiency in modern programming languages and technologies.
  5. Strong Git or version control skills.
  6. Ability to debug, problem-solve, and test code.
  7. Fluent communication in English.
  8. API development and Docker/containerization expertise.
  9. Hands-on experience with scalable, distributed cloud systems.

Prioritization is also given to candidates with:

  1. Experience with Swift.
  2. Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Terraform).
  3. Knowledge of distributed system monitoring tools (ELK, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
  4. Experience integrating business systems.
