About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analysis Lead to join our team at TN Norway. As a key member of our Market Operations department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of quantitative risk analysts across our offices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, extensive knowledge in quantitative finance and risk, and significant IT knowledge coupled with strong programming skills preferably in Python.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of eight quantitative risk analysts
  • Enhance risk models for liquid time horizon across European power markets
  • Develop risk models for semi-liquid and illiquid time horizon for renewable assets
  • Maintain and enhance forward curve tools and methodology

Qualifications and Skills

  • Outstanding university degree in physics, mathematics, computer science or natural sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial risk management ideally in energy markets
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Business oriented with ability to communicate complex risk issues
  • Fluent in English
