Senior Project Completion Engineer

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Completion Engineer to join our team at IKM Consultants AS. As a key member of our project completion team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation phase by reviewing and verifying documentation and drawings relevant to Mechanical Completion (MC) and Commissioning of designated systems.
- Provide engineering input and estimation for commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems/equipment.
- Plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities independently.
- Participate in Mechanical Completion (MC) punch outs and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at supplier sites.
- Deliver input and update progress into the project completion system.
- Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate and interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with a high focus on Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE).
- Identify and follow up on risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
- Plan and call off Acceptance Test Specifications (ATS) as required.
- Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services.
- Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
- Plan and ensure first fills are available in a timely fashion and perform first fills.
- Provide leadership to ensure a high level of focus on health, safety, and the environment to achieve company expectations.
- Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
- Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
- Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on the Commissioning plan.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operation.
- Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience from NORSOK projects.
- System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding.
- Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and ability to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills.
- Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems.
- Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
- Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
