The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Developer (Mid-Level) with a strong background in Angular and experience in designing and developing high-quality frontend code. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a passion for impactful decisions and working with a dynamic team.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality frontend code using Angular, transforming legacy interfaces into modern, scalable experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature requirements, enhancing our existing systems to support a modern data-driven pipeline.
• Develop new functionality to enhance internal forecasting tools, improving usability and decision-making for meteorologists.
• Create intuitive UI solutions that support real-time operations and complex weather analysis.
• Own the software specification, design, wireframing, development, and integration of impactful features.
• Work closely with cross-functional and international teams, including data scientists, forecasters, and backend developers, to understand user needs.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing frontend applications using Angular.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and REST/JSON.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with frontend test frameworks (unit, integration, and E2E).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub actions.
• Professional fluency in English; knowledge of Norwegian is beneficial.
• Must be able to work from Bergen, Norway, in a hybrid work mode.
