As a People Operations Manager at NIO Norway AS, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our HR function in the Nordics. Our company is committed to creating a joyful lifestyle through high-performance smart electric vehicles and exceptional user experiences.

Our team designs, develops, jointly manufactures, and sells premium smart electric vehicles, driving innovations in next-generation technologies across autonomous driving, digital technologies, electric powertrains, and batteries. We strive for continuous technological breakthroughs and innovations, such as industry-leading battery swapping technologies, Battery as a Service (BaaS), as well as proprietary autonomous driving technologies and Autonomous Driving as a Service (AdaaS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run day-to-day HR operations in accordance with Norwegian labour law, beneficial if you have knowledge of other Nordic countries' labour law as well.
  • Partner with the Lead HR for the Nordics to plan HR activities according to business strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate business risks in the local market, providing people-related solutions.
  • Support managers with HR-related matters, including sick leave follow-up.
  • Implement processes relating to Compensation & Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment, Change management, Workforce Planning, and budget & forecasting for the local market.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines through organizational development processes.
  • Coach employees in people matters and manage HR processes/activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR experience within the Norwegian market.
  • Fast-paced, high-growth organization experience; international experience a plus.
  • Proven problem-solving, logical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail, structured work style, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Start-up mindset, good soft and hard skills, and willingness to grow with the organization.
  • Global HR team collaboration and English/Norwegian language proficiency are essential.
