About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our world-class Ship Design Solutions team at Kongsberg Gruppen. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our portfolio of vessels within the UT-Design and NVC-Design range.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Vessel Portfolio: Collaborate with our customers and sales force to develop our vessels portfolio within the UT-Design and NVC-Design range.
  • Design and Documentation: Develop General Arrangement, vessel specifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with supporting teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Decarbonization Expertise: Drive the decarbonization of our vessel range through innovative design solutions.
  • Sales Support: Provide sales support and customer activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with building yards, Flag, Authorities, and classification societies.
Requirements
  • Education: Master or Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture or similar.
  • Experience: Relevant experience from Yard, classification companies, or consultancy.
