Job Title: QA/QC Inspektør

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Inspektør to join our team at Omega 365 Consulting. As a QA/QC Inspektør, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our projects in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in achieving project HSSEQ goals.
  • Review of Client's technical documentation and requirements to ensure an adequate standard.
  • Monitoring of design and construction for welding and construction of all structural and piping.
  • Liaising and leading NDE verification along with Company Site QC.
  • Member of Construction Site team and contributing to the group as the driving force within your discipline.
  • Follow-up of welding, QA/QC routines and procedures for the Construction/Completion phase and site inspections including pre-fabrication site and reporting all non-compliance, comment activities to QA-plan, audit, and verification plan.
  • Participation in inspection activities according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as required, including any Sub-supplier ITPs.
  • Participation and/or conduct of Audits onsite and vendors for both Quality and HSSE.
  • Participation and/or support of PED verification.
  • Ensuring that Contractors operators have adequate skills in respective trades and continuously follow-up on quality of installation activities.
  • Participation in MC documentation during the installation period and signing out MC certificates and Punch items on behalf of company.
  • Monitoring of receipt and storage of materials to ensure traceability and that systems and equipment are protected and preserved through fabrication, installation, and hook-up.
  • Participation in SJA, Risk Assessment, HAZID, HAZOP or other HSSEQ related reviews when required.
  • Contribution to the Management of Change process and to project risk workshop. Identification and follow-up of relevant opportunities, risks, and mitigating actions.

Requirements:

  • Technical education.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with Quality Surveillance within oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in fabrication/construction of oil & gas module/skid, pressure vessels, piping, valves, pumps, E&I etc...
  • For NDT inspection to be certified Level 2 of AS 3998, ISO 9712, PCN or equivalent.
  • For welding inspection to be certified CSWIP/AWS.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards like ASME, EN, API, IEC, NACE, NORSOK, European CE marking.
  • Full working proficiency in English.
  • Quality & HSE Mind-set and behavior.
