Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary

As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, organizing, and executing electrical commissioning activities within a project. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all electrical commissioning activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical commissioning plans and procedures
  • Coordinate and conduct electrical commissioning activities, including testing and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Ensure that all electrical commissioning activities are completed in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate electrical commissioning risks
  • Provide input to the project budget and cost estimates for electrical commissioning activities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of electrical commissioning services
  • Monitor and report on electrical commissioning progress and performance

Requirements

  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and commissioning processes
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical commissioning or a related field
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
  • NORSOK and EPC Processes certifications
  • Special examinations/certificates: FSEL and Practis Firstaid
