As a Commissioning & Field Service Engineer, you'll be part of our Ship Electrification Solutions team, which is a world-leading total supplier of electric and hybrid solutions for the marine industry. Our products range from Shaft Generators to Hybrid Solutions and shore power.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning, repair, and warranty works in electrical power generation, power distribution, and electrical shore connection systems
  • System testing and analysis on equipment and systems on site
  • Testing and acceptance of installation, as well as necessary adjustments
  • Supervision of sea trials and training of ship's crews
  • Presentation and handover of equipment's systems to the ship owner, shipyard, and classification societies
  • Preparation of service/installation reports and feedback on technical content/changes to involved departments
  • Support and guidance of remote commissioning for other departments of the group
Requirements
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Ships Operational Technology, or equivalent
  • Professional experience in power generation plants, control and converter technology, medium-voltage systems, and customer service
  • Knowledge of SPS skills and a structured, practical way of working with a hands-on attitude
  • English language proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel frequently around the world
