Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Inventory Manager to join our team at IKM Gruppen AS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing stock items, and ensuring accurate inventory counts across all warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement material management procedures and processes to improve inventory management and flow efficiency.
  • Manage inventory clean-up efforts, counting schedules, and reconciliation of warehouse counts, including transactions.
  • Contribute to identifying and executing disposals of equipment, including sale, donation, or scrap.
  • Develop and work with client inventory for Drilling & Wells, including 3rd party vendors.
  • Proactively identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve inventory management and warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • SCM/Business or Engineering related field degree, or equivalent.
  • Formal academic background in inventory management fundamental concepts, warehousing/distribution, transportation, or related fields, supported by sufficient material management experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with SAP or other comparable ERP systems.
  • Strong skills in using Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work creatively, turning plans into reality in a demanding environment.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to deliver results with minimum direction and supervision.
  • Experience in working across disciplines and cross-functional teams.
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills.
  • One-team attitude.
  • Language: Excellent command of the English language.
