Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our European Supplier Quality Team, you will be responsible for planning and executing quality risk mitigation activities, with a focus on piping, plastic, welding, forging, and tubing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute quality surveillance activities, ensuring suppliers meet project requirements.
- Participate in package criticality assessments and supplier risk assessments to identify potential quality risks.
- Develop and implement quality surveillance plans to mitigate risks and ensure supplier compliance.
- Manage supplier intervention activities, review and follow up inspection and test plans, and ensure compliance with project QS plans.
- Responsible for follow-up on supplier non-conformities, corrective actions, and preventive development to mitigate risks to the project.
- Interact with SQEs on corrective actions and preventive development of suppliers to mitigate risk to the project.
- Review inspection reports and ensure they are stored and followed up.
- Participate in defining the content of the SMDR to ensure each product receives the correct documents, procedures, and reports covering the manufacturing process.
- Support QHSE onsite activities through QCS/SQ function where needed.
- Participate in suppliers' performance assessment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or similar required.
- Additional experience in supply chain management, lean manufacturing, process improvement is desired.
- Work experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.
- Minimum 3 years experience in quality, engineering, supplier development, supplier quality, and/or project management.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus.
- Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently and systematically.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, often conflicting priorities.
- Problem-solving skills related to functional area, understanding business impact on overall business.
- Must have demonstrated performance as a change agent with leadership and project management skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside, without sponsorship.
