Job Title: Cable Industry Contract ManagerEstimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

This is a exciting opportunity to join our team as a Contract Manager in the Cable Industry. You will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring that project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role:

  1. Facilitate contract reviews with project teams and raise contractual awareness during project execution phases.
  2. Liaise with clients and other construction professionals such as site managers, project managers, and site engineers.
  3. Analyze contracts to establish a contract and commercial management strategy.
  4. Manage all commercial and contractual projects, preparing relevant documentation and reports.
  5. Ensure contract obligations are known and followed by project teams, and secure that statutory regulations and other quality requirements are met.
  6. Track changes to work and manage Variation Orders, disputes, and claims.
  7. Review and draft correspondence.
  8. Organize and lead project stakeholders for contractual and commercial matters to obtain relevant information.
  9. Support projects with supplier and subcontractor management, including leading negotiations linked to sourcing of materials and services.
  10. Support projects with establishment and negotiation of subcontracts and strategic procurements, oversee construction works, and measure and value work done on site.
  11. Proactively provide advice on specific issues, risks, contractual/claims activities, considering the contract and Nexans business objectives.

About You:

  • You hold a postgraduate degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical, Economics, or Business Sciences.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years contract or commercial management experience.
  • You appreciate experience from EPCI contracts and familiarity with major construction contract forms including FIDIC, NF, NTK, NEC, LOGIC, ORGALIM.
  • You are fluent in English (both written and oral).
  • You have sound business judgment with the ability to balance contractual and business priorities, break down complex contractual problems, and articulate risks to partners in the business.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • You have customer orientation with excellent collaboration skills.
  • You are willing to take on tasks both big and small.
  • You have a commercial mindset and mentality to own your commercial and contractual activities.
  • You are curious and enjoy finding solutions to practical problems and dealing with variety of variables while maintaining a high sense of quality and time.
