About the Role

The Product Development Director will oversee the development and scalability of the core platform, requiring a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision. This role involves an initial hands-on approach to developing the platform, ensuring its robustness and integrating innovative features like AI-powered scheduling and CRM systems.

As the company scales, you will transition into a leadership role, building and mentoring a world-class tech team. You'll collaborate closely with CEO Mona Berntsen, who brings industry expertise and authenticity to the company's mission. Together, you'll drive Tiny Studios' continued success while capitalizing on its vast market potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tech Leadership: Develop and implement Tiny Studios' product and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and the founder's vision.
  • Platform Development: Oversee the development process (design, prototype, development, and quality assurance) of new software products and features from scratch.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to gather insights, understand their needs, and incorporate their feedback into product development and strategy.
  • Global Scalability: Build scalable solutions to support Tiny Studios' rapid growth and planned international expansion.
  • Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing tech team as the company grows, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building and scaling SaaS platforms
  • Hands-on coding experience
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment, transitioning from hands-on development to a strategic leadership role
