About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer - Process Control to join our team in Stavanger. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process control and automation, with a focus on executing scheduled work according to our safety and quality standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing internal tests and customer acceptance tests of configured control systems, as well as commissioning and start-up support.
Additionally, you will be involved in administrative work associated with preparing systems for Factory Acceptance Tests and addressing non-conformances identified during the process.
You will also provide resolution to complex technical issues and resolve customer disruptive events, coordinating with our Global Support Center.
Key Responsibilities- Execute scheduled work according to our safety and quality standards.
- Perform internal test and customer acceptance tests of the configured control system in-house and at customer sites, as well as commissioning and start-up support.
- Be responsible for administrative work associated with preparing a system for Factory Acceptance Test and addressing non-conformances identified during the process.
- Provide resolution to sophisticated technical issues and resolve customer disruptive events, coordinating with Emerson Global Support Center.
What You'll Need
- Degree in Control & Process Automation or Engineering (Technical School or University).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with digital control systems within the process industry.
- Proficient knowledge of both Norwegian and English.
- Driver's license B.
