This role involves leading our team in designing and optimizing prokaryotic-based production systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of innovative biotechnological processes, working independently and collaboratively with a dynamic team.
• Design, plan, and execute molecular and microbiological experiments to enhance microbial strains for sustainable product production.
• Implement advanced molecular biological techniques, including CRISPR-based genome editing, to optimize bioprocesses.
• Analyze and present experimental results to internal and external stakeholders, staying informed about the latest scientific innovations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to defining the company's future value proposition.

About You

Required Skills:

• Ph.D. or equivalent experience in molecular biology, microbiology, synthetic biology, or related fields.
• Proven track record in strain engineering, synthetic biology, and microbial biotechnology.
• Familiarity with high-throughput screening methods, bioinformatics tools, and DNA design/editing software.
