As a Service Technician at TechnipFMC's Workshop, you will be part of a dynamic team driving innovation and sustainability in the energy industry. The role involves performing complex assembly and tests of mechanical/hydraulic assemblies, as well as serving as a technical expert and coordinating small teams of technicians.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Carry out regular maintenance and service on Surface Wellhead equipment, valves, and tools.
  2. Conduct scheduled maintenance, modifications, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  3. Detect and troubleshoot issues with workshop tools and surface equipment to minimize downtime.
  4. Perform pressure testing and operate the Torque/Make & Brake machine according to established procedures.
  5. Document and report all service activities, updating equipment service histories accordingly.
  6. Develop and implement process improvements in the workshop and contribute to maintaining accurate technical documentation.
  7. Ensure that the workspace remains organized and clean, adhering to health and safety standards.
  8. Engage in company-led training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance technical expertise.
Candidate Requirements

We seek individuals with:

  • A strong educational background in mechanics, automation, or hydraulics.
  • Previous work experience in a similar field (desired but not mandatory).
  • Relevant certifications for overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Excellent language skills in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
  • A solid understanding of quality and safety principles.
