
UAV Systems Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled UAV Systems Mechanical Engineer to join our team at TN Norway. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in refining and evolving our existing drone platforms to improve manufacturability and performance.
About the RoleYou will oversee the mechanical hardware for our hardware-in-the-loop test environment, combining hands-on design, supplier management, and lab development to support our software and AI teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and modify mechanical components for existing and future drone models using 3D CAD.
- Utilize 3D printing and additive manufacturing techniques for prototyping and part production.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
- Develop and maintain our hardware lab and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test suite to support the software team.
- Perform Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to enhance performance and structural integrity.
