
Mechanical Engineering Coordinator

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and heavy industry project management.
Responsibilities include reviewing and implementing requirements in client contract documents, managing vendor documentation, and participating in purchasing negotiations.
- Review and implement requirements in the following documents: Client contract documents, including specifications, scope of work, guarantees, and lists of documents to be submitted to the client.
- Address requests for missing documents and information to the client through the Project Engineer or Proposal Manager.
- Prepare Technical Data and Specification, Supplier Document Requirement List, Request for Quotation, Material Requisition, PowerMax Purchase Requisition according to relevant Work Breakdown Structure, As built documentation.
- Evaluate suppliers' offers and ask for revisions when necessary to align quotations from other suppliers.
- Participate in purchasing negotiations with other project members to establish the appropriate technical basis for the contract.
- Check that applicable documents are complete before orders to vendors are awarded.
- Monitor and engineer documents and drawings provided by vendors and subcontractors.
- Circulate information and documents related to mechanical equipment during tendering or project execution.
- Be the link to relevant external engineering resources.
- Support the Project Engineer in replying to client queries and participating in project meetings.
- Support the Project Engineer in follow-up of the site team during erection, mechanical completion, commissioning, and trial run phases.
- Support the Project Engineer, the Project Manager, and/or the contract manager in technical issues related to claims to or from the client, partners, and vendors.
- Support the quality function in the project during inspections as required.
