Main Responsibilities:

  • Product responsibility for all RRC products and their lifecycle, excluding electronic modules.
  • Lead mechanical tasks in development projects, including design and 3D modeling.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the R&D manager within given limits.
  • Report critical issues concerning products to the R&D manager.
  • Collect market, sales, technical, and product manager information for future product and strategy development.
  • Control product improvement and maintenance.
  • Interface between product managers and R&D department for non-standardized solutions.
  • Responsible for complete RRC system specification and architecture.
  • Responsible for CAR system.

Product Responsibility Includes:

  • Release new products and upgrades of existing products, ensuring a smooth handover from R&D to the organization.
  • Participate in new product development to ensure important lifecycle issues are addressed.
  • Technical follow-up of sub-suppliers in cooperation with QA and purchase departments.
  • Stay updated on relevant standards for products in close cooperation with the approval manager.
  • Responsibility for changes and extensions of products, as described in QA-020 CAR.
  • Lifecycle management, including component qualification, end-of-life analysis, and decision-making.
  • Participate in customer-specific projects when deviations from standard products occur.

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical design and 3D modeling, preferably with some experience in HW and compliance.
  • 2-5 years of experience, with recent graduates also considered.
