Mitigrate is a ClimateTech and InsurTech SaaS startup pioneering automated climate risk analyses to guide preventive measures. Our platform integrates high-resolution satellite imagery, machine learning, and optimisation algorithms to predict and prioritise climate-positive measures.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Geospatial Data Engineer to manage, process, and analyse geospatial data in support of our mission. The successful candidate will develop scalable data pipelines, integrate APIs, and contribute to remote sensing and geospatial analysis capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Data Pipeline Development:
- Design and implement robust pipelines to process large-scale geospatial datasets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in geospatial data workflows.
- Integration and Automation:
- Build and maintain APIs for seamless data integration with front-end systems and third-party platforms.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform to support geospatial processes.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to gather and refine requirements for geospatial projects.
- Quality Assurance and Innovation:
- Write high-quality, maintainable code, prioritising best practices such as code reviews and testing.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in geospatial engineering, remote sensing, and related fields.
