Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a PhD Research Fellow in carbonate geochemistry and petrology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting detailed fieldwork and core studies to investigate the formation of carbonates in igneous rocks.
  • Petrographically and geochemically characterizing tephra samples from sedimentary sequences.
  • Designing and conducting experiments to further understand how tephra is altered to carbonate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carbonate geochemistry, tephra geochemistry, and/or petrography in volcanic and sedimentary systems, as well as experience with outcrop studies and/or core studies at Master level.
