Key Responsibilities:

The professor of statistics and biology will be responsible for leading a research group focused on developing and applying statistical methods for understanding the relationships between biological systems and disease. This will involve collaborating with researchers from a range of disciplines, including medicine, epidemiology, and computer science.

The successful candidate will also be expected to teach and mentor students, as well as contribute to the development of new statistical methodologies and tools. A strong publication record and ability to secure research funding are essential for this role.
