The University of Oslo is seeking a highly qualified researcher to join the Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology. As an Associate Professor, you will be responsible for conducting research, supervising PhD candidates, and participating in teaching and statistical advising.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and develop research strategies
- Supervise PhD candidates and postdocs

- Doctoral degree or equivalent qualifications in biostatistics, statistics, machine learning, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Expertise in statistical/probabilistic machine learning, with a strong interest in applications in medicine
- Promising academics with a strong research record and excellent communication skills
- Experience in supervision of students and leadership of research groups
- Excellent English language skills
