Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Commissioning System Responsible Engineer at IKM Consultants AS, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely planning and execution of Commissioning activities. This will involve:

  • Establishing a Commissioning network in the Project Completion System (PIMS CMS, PIMS PES & PIMS SWCR) as a basis for planning and management of Commissioning activities.
  • Participating in the process to define Commissioning activities and agree milestones for the Project as input for the integrated schedule.
  • Actively cooperating with the project team during the execution of Commissioning.
  • Executing Commissioning activities together with the Contractors organization in accordance with established procedures and plans.
  • Executing Commissioning activities in accordance with Company and Contractor requirements for Safe Execution of Work.
  • Undertaking a review of previous lessons learned and incorporating relevant lessons learned into Commissioning planning.
  • Signing and reporting status from PIMS CMS, PIMS PES & PIMS SWCR for Commissioning.
  • Participating in HAZID, HAZOP, and other HSEQ related reviews.
  • Contributing to the Management of Change process and to project risk workshops.
  • Identifying and following up relevant risks and mitigating actions.
  • Preparing the commissioning queries needed.
  • Following up suppliers where MC/FAT is to be carried out, including sites abroad.
  • Coordinating and supporting SAS Subsea as well as construction and commissioning interfaces across all disciplines, including engineering and EPCI contractor.
  • Following up cyber security tasks towards suppliers and commissioning cyber security activities.
  • Acting as a driving force for development and implementation of Commissioning activities for the Project.
Required Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as Commissioning Engineer for SAS systems within larger development projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
  • Experience with Honeywell SAS system will be considered an advantage.
  • SAS Engineering experience in addition to long commissioning experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Being creative, open, and responsible, with a proactive mindset and workstyle, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
