Job Overview:

The Cost Controller role at TN Norway involves providing financial guidance and support to project teams. You will be responsible for establishing budgets, cost estimates, and reporting systems, and for providing timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting: Establish and manage project budgets, including preparing and revising the Master and Current Control Estimate (MCE/CCE) and Project Control Basis.
  • Cost Control: Track expenditure against License budgets and AFEs, and ensure change control processes are followed.
  • Reporting: Prepare input to License Budgets & Project Approval for Expenditures (AFE's) and deliver timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A degree level qualification related to Project Management, Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Economics or Business Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cost engineering and/or cost control as part of relevant larger development projects or decommissioning projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft365 working tools, including advanced use of Excel.
