Police Operations Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Police Operations Expert to provide subject matter expertise to support NATO's Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of operational experience in policing and internal security matters at the national and international level, as well as experience in briefing senior leaders/decision makers at the governance level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on policing and counter terrorism approach
  • Coordinate operational policing matters within the JWC team
  • Act as the focal point for the training audience for Policing matters during exercise preparation and execution

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate 5 years of operational experience in policing and internal security matters
  • Demonstrate 3 years' experience in briefing senior leaders/decision makers
  • Participate in NATO and/or international strategic planning exercises and operations

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required. Business English language proficiency is essential.
