Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on quality, health, environment, and safety practices to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop and implement internal systems in line with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and Internal Control Regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in Safe Job Analyses (SJA) to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Drive improvements in the QHSE management system through data-driven decision making.
  • Provide input and guidance during root cause analyses and assist in incident investigations to identify corrective actions.
  • Support audit planning, execution, and follow-up—both internally and externally—to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness measures and develop strategies for crisis management.
  • Coordinate documentation and processes for supplier prequalification to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Participate in safety inspections and internal reviews across various sites to ensure a culture of safety.
  • Utilize digital document systems, including SharePoint-based QHSE platforms, to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field; extensive experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Solid experience in QHSE roles, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and digital document handling to streamline workflows.
  • Experience with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and regulatory compliance to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ability to support nonconformance handling, reporting, and customer communication to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Familiarity with emergency preparedness planning is a plus, as it will enable the successful candidate to contribute to the development of effective response strategies.
  • Comfortable engaging with both operational teams and management to build a strong HSE culture and promote a collaborative environment.
