Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Fugro Norway AS - Satellite Positioning.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate project risks through escalation/delegation of issues to appropriate members of the project team.
  • Develop and execute tests to ensure software products meet the required standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help maintain the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with System Development Life Cycle concepts, including Agile/Scrum.
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Jira and Global Navigation Satellite Systems is a plus.
