Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Halliburton's Sperry Drilling department. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, preparation, testing, and maintenance of downhole drilling equipment (DD tools) within our workshops.

Your duties will include performing scheduled maintenance on BHA, Geo-span, and motors, as well as supplying operational needs with high-quality products while maintaining focus on details and delivering results of the highest quality possible.

You will work in a busy environment with frequent changes and be expected to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on DD tools, including inspection, cleaning, and repair
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Document all maintenance activities and update records accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and maintain a safe working environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a related workshop environment
  • BASIC knowledge of 5S and process improvements
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both Norwegian and English languages
  • Prior experience with downhole drilling equipment maintenance is desirable but not essential
