Role Purpose

The ECOM Database Engineer is responsible for the initial set-up, preparation, maintenance, and close-out of Project Completions Database (ECOM) during the execute phase. He/she will adhere to and participate in the implementation of the Project HSSE and Quality Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review SBM engineering deliverables and index lists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Prepare engineering and supply chain document trackers used for ECOM population, ensuring timely and efficient data entry.
  3. Provide continuous feedback to SBM Engineering team on tag discrepancies, ensuring seamless collaboration and resolution.
  4. Initial tag population in ECOM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  5. Review cable block diagram and termination drawings along with cable schedule to identify integration cables and populate the same in ECOM, ensuring precise and accurate data.
  6. Review vendor datasheets to capture equipment data (e.g., model number, serial number, EX rating, etc.) and populate the same in ECOM, ensuring comprehensive and accurate information.
  7. Publish weekly progress reports on ECOM population, providing transparency and visibility to stakeholders.
  8. Prepare master registers (e.g., PSVs, mechanical handling equipment, analyzers & flowmeters, equipment alignment, motor un-coupled run), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  9. During site execution, perform regular (internal) audits of ECOM and provide feedback to site ECOM database team, ensuring compliance and quality.
Requirements
  1. Arrange training of ECOM Assistant(s) and Site Project team, ensuring knowledge transfer and capacity building.
  2. Maintain engineering document tracker used for ECOM population, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Prepare and maintain marked-up drawing tracker used for ECOM population, ensuring precise and accurate data.
  4. Mark-up and update of sub-system limits on P&IDs, Cable block diagrams, Single line drawings, etc., ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  5. Prepare and maintain register, attendance sheets, and punch list forms for Mechanical Completion (MC) walk-downs, ensuring comprehensive and accurate information.
  6. Prepare NOE supporting documents (e.g., tag list, ITR status based on mark-up), ensuring timely and efficient data entry.
  7. Maintain master registers (e.g., PSVs, mechanical handling equipment, analyzers & flowmeters, equipment alignment, motor un-coupled run), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  8. Review critical construction A-ITRs (e.g., load test, PSVs, etc.) completed by Contractor with relevant documentation attached, ensuring compliance and quality.
  9. Prepare functional mark-up of P&IDs in line with the step described in operational test procedures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  10. Prepare the instrument loop check dossiers (i.e., compile ITR, loop drawing, datasheet, EX documents, etc.), ensuring comprehensive and accurate information.
  11. Prepare the lighting circuit dossiers (i.e., compile ITR, circuit drawing, datasheet, EX documents, etc.), ensuring precise and accurate data.
  12. Maintain register and forms for ECOM change requests, ensuring timely and efficient data entry.
  13. Prepare and update Sub System Handover dossiers tracker to monitor progress, ensuring transparency and visibility to stakeholders.
  14. Compile Sub System Handover dossiers as per project requirements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  15. Publish ECOM status reports (ITR/PLI) based on request from site team/management, providing timely and accurate information.
  16. Complete a full set of as-built ECOM documentation upon completion of the project, ensuring comprehensive and accurate information.
