Database Engineer for Project Completions

Role Purpose

The ECOM Database Engineer is responsible for the initial set-up, preparation, maintenance, and close-out of Project Completions Database (ECOM) during the execute phase. He/she will adhere to and participate in the implementation of the Project HSSE and Quality Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review SBM engineering deliverables and index lists to ensure accurate data entry.
  2. Prepare engineering and supply chain document trackers used for ECOM population.
  3. Provide continuous feedback to SBM Engineering team on tag discrepancies.
  4. Initial tag population in ECOM.
  5. Review cable block diagram and termination drawings along with cable schedule to identify integration cables and populate the same in ECOM.
  6. Review vendor datasheets to capture equipment data and populate the same in ECOM.
  7. Publish weekly progress reports on ECOM population.
  8. Prepare master registers, including PSVs, mechanical handling equipment, analyzers, and flowmeters.
  9. During site execution, perform regular internal audits of ECOM and provide feedback to site ECOM database team.
Requirements
  1. Arrange training of ECOM Assistant(s) and Site Project team.
  2. Maintain engineering document tracker used for ECOM population.
  3. Prepare and maintain marked-up drawing tracker used for ECOM population.
  4. Mark-up and update sub-system limits on P&IDs, cable block diagrams, single-line drawings, etc.
  5. Prepare and maintain register, attendance sheets, and punch list forms for Mechanical Completion (MC) walk-downs.
  6. Prepare NOE supporting documents, including tag list and ITR status based on mark-up.
  7. Maintain master registers, including PSVs, mechanical handling equipment, analyzers, and flowmeters.
  8. Review critical construction A-ITRs completed by Contractor with relevant documentation attached.
  9. Prepare functional mark-up of P&IDs in line with operational test procedures.
  10. Prepare instrument loop check dossiers and lighting circuit dossiers.
  11. Maintain register and forms for ECOM change requests.
  12. Prepare and update Sub System Handover dossiers tracker to monitor progress.
  13. Compile Sub System Handover dossiers as per project requirements.
  14. Publish ECOM status reports based on request from site team/management.
  15. Complete a full set of as-built ECOM documentation upon completion of the project.
