DNV SeaSkill is a leading provider of competence building solutions in the maritime industry. We certify maritime simulator systems used for training, assessment, and research, as well as learning programs, competence management systems, training institutions, and training platform providers.
We develop and maintain competence standards and recommended practices for areas of activity where no established regulatory or industry competence standards exist.
As a Simulator Certification Specialist in the SeaSkill Governance Unit, your key responsibilities include:
- Providing SeaSkill certification services to customers with a strong focus on simulators
- Advising internally on SeaSkill- and simulator-related matters
- Driving the development of our simulator certification standard, observing industry and research trends
- Liaising with simulator manufacturers, maritime administrations, industry organizations, and IMO on the development and use of simulators
- Supporting marketing and sales activities for SeaSkill services, with a focus on simulators
