Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead our efforts in optimizing and innovating supply chain practices and processes, supporting the success of Stadler Service Norway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement an effective supply chain strategy that supports Stadler's operational goals, ensuring efficient procurement, logistics, and inventory management processes.
- Performance & KPI Management: Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data from shipping and delivery processes, and propose solutions to bottlenecks, ensuring optimal fleet performance.
- Supplier & Contract Management: Negotiate terms with suppliers, ensuring the best possible offers in terms of price, quality, and delivery time, maintaining strong relationships with external partners and internal departments.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement, driving results-oriented performance.
- Inventory & Procurement: Manage procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables, ensuring inventory levels are optimal in line with project demands, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all supply chain practices comply with relevant laws, standards, and company policies, reporting any quality or safety deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain processes, including material bottlenecks and availability issues, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving performance improvements, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in using ERP/EAM systems to manage inventory and generate reports, driving data-driven decision-making.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, ensuring effective communication across departments and with external partners.
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making, driving results-oriented performance and continuous improvement.
