Ship Automation Specialist

To succeed in our ambitious goals, we need to strengthen our expertise and are therefore looking for a Ship Automation Specialist to contribute to our team.

In this role, you will join our division of Automation & Control, where you will work with Vessel Systems that deliver Ship Automation to yards worldwide. We are at the forefront of delivering state-of-the-art maritime solutions in a constantly changing world. As part of the transition to a green shift, we have projects in our portfolio supporting an environmental focus and providing solutions towards a more sustainable future. Our projects are exciting and come with technical challenges, which is why we need engineers with determination and ability to solve complex tasks. You will collaborate with experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Software Engineers in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Complete project engineering activities within specified time frames
• Accomplish work according to current production and quality assurance routines
• Cooperate with Project Managers and Project Engineers at Sister Companies
• Contribute to a positive team spirit in the projects
• Support the sales organization with project and technical expertise

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Technical or maritime education, maritime experience is preferred
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.

What We Can Offer You:

We offer a competitive salary of around $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience, as well as benefit packages with good development opportunities in an international environment.
