HW Test Engineer

Kongsberg Maritime is a leading provider of automation and control solutions for process control and safety systems for oil and gas installations worldwide. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced HW Test Engineer to join our dedicated team and contribute to our exciting growth journey.

As a HW Test Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime, you will be part of a dynamic team with diverse experience, skills, and age. We prioritize knowledge sharing and foster a work culture that not only enables optimal well-being but also promotes an efficient workday.

Your tasks will be related to hardware assembly and connection, testing, and troubleshooting of new builds and upgrades, as well as expansions of Kongsberg Maritime's maritime equipment. You will also be involved in the development and updating of internal documentation, such as work instructions and checklists, process, and improvement work.

Our products primarily include alarm handling, motor control, and piping control systems.

• Hardware assembly and connection of HW project deliveries
• Distribution of networks and network testers in customer projects
• Testing and troubleshooting of HW and SW on our systems
• Some electromechanical adaptation
• Closely working and communicating with project management
• Further development of test documentation
• Ongoing improvement work

• Professional certificate in relevant fields such as electro, automation, and data electronics
• Practical experience with technical installations
• Experience with electromechanical work is an advantage
• Fluent Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
• General data knowledge
