As a Senior Consultant combined with Professor II/Associate Professor II in Transplantation Medicine, you will play a key role in advancing our mission of providing world-class healthcare services.

The Department of Transplantation Medicine, Division of Surgery and Specialized Medicine, is a dynamic and innovative team that is constantly seeking new ways to improve patient outcomes. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for a permanent position in Gastroenterology, while your part-time academic position as Professor II SKO 1013/Associate Professor II SKO 1011 (20%) in Medicine (Transplantation Medicine and Hepatology) at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo, will require you to attend both positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in gastroenterology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Norwegian or a compatible Scandinavian language.
