About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team at Barco. As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that meets the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize technical information from R&D colleagues and attend kick-off meetings to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Create technical illustrations using tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creo, and edit images to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Author user, safety, and service manuals, as well as other types of documentation, in English.
  • Take ownership of product documentation from creation to review, translation, and publishing, ensuring seamless delivery to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, with a strong interest in technology and a passion for writing.
  • Proficiency in 3D drawing programs (Creo) and the Adobe package (mainly Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat,...).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with experience in XML tools and Arbortext a plus.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
