Technical Documentation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team at Barco. As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that supports our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information Collection: Collaborate with R&D engineers, product managers, and NPI managers to collect technical information and develop a deep understanding of our products and services.
- Documentation Creation: Author user and service manuals, as well as other types of documentation, ensuring accuracy and user-friendliness.
- Illustrations and Graphics: Create technical illustrations using tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creo.
- Documentation Ownership: Take ownership of product documentation from creation to review, translation, and publishing.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, with a strong interest in technology and a passion for writing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D drawing programs (Creo) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, etc.). Knowledge of XML tools and Arbortext is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
