The Role


This Senior Engineer position offers the opportunity to lead newbuild projects for tankers and gas carriers in close cooperation with vessel owners and shipyards.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Managing technical requirements and tender documents for tankers and gas carriers.
  • Evaluating technical specifications as part of tender processes.
  • Driving technical development and specifications for liquified CO2 carriers.
  • Performing technology watch through collaboration with ship owners, classification societies and vendors.
  • Collaborating with industry partners to identify and mature more efficient shipping solutions.
  • Contributing to framework development for safe and efficient implementation of emerging fuels and performance enhancing technologies.

About You


We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with BSc or MSc in marine technology, naval architecture, mechanical or process engineering.


A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience from the maritime industry is required.


Experience in project management and newbuild developments for gas carriers and/or tankers is essential.


You should have a strong network within the maritime industry and excellent communication skills.

This position offers a competitive salary estimated at $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
