The Position

  • Design, plan, and acquire data for surveys, and follow up on contractors.
  • Prepare and coordinate other types of survey operations, such as environmental surveys or metocean measurements.
  • Provide technical support for oil and gas and renewable projects during the engineering phase.
  • Support the permitting and consenting team with technical input for permit applications.
  • Conduct field work, such as supervising the mobilization and demobilization of vessels and occasional offshore work.

You

We're looking for someone who shares our values of being open, collaborative, courageous, and caring. You'll prioritize safety and contribute to our zero-harm culture. For this position, we're also looking for:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as applied geophysics, survey and hydrography, physics, or oceanography.
  • Professional-level proficiency in English, with a willingness to learn Norwegian.
  • Demonstrable commitment to safety, quality, cost, and operational performance.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in shallow marine geophysical survey, UUHRS seismic acquisition, or other relevant fields.
