About the Role

Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Surveying Engineer to join our team. As a Surveying Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct dimensional control surveys, both onshore and offshore, to ensure the accuracy of measurements and data.
  2. Perform complex calculations and 3D modeling using industry-leading software such as MicroStation and E3D.
  3. Execute 3D laser scanning and manage point cloud data with LFM to provide detailed and accurate data for our clients.
  4. Engage actively in ongoing tasks, including work planning, installation assistance, and setting out known coordinates on-site.
  5. Control dimensions of prefabricated items in company yards and at vendor locations to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Requirements:

  1. Hold an MSc, BSc, Technical College degree, or possess equivalent relevant education and experience.
  2. Have experience in dimensional control and/or land surveying, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  3. Be capable of processing captured data and preparing final deliverables, including reports and presentations.
  4. Be skilled in preparing and checking drawings, 3D models, and reports, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Be proficient in laser scanning, with strong cooperation skills and a preference for teamwork.
  6. Familiar with software such as Leica Cyclone, Graphic Survey, and Bentley MicroStation.
  7. Hold a valid offshore certificate and be available for work in Norway.
  8. Exhibit good communication skills in both Norwegian and English and be a team player.
