About the Role:
">As a Senior Technology Security Engineer at Pra Group Europe AS, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing security solutions to safeguard our European IT infrastructure. Your expertise in cybersecurity will be instrumental in ensuring our systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with global security standards.
">Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security solutions to mitigate risks and protect against cyber threats.
  • Provide expert security architecture reviews for European IT projects.
  • Support and enhance our ISO 27001-based Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center and Application Development teams to strengthen security measures.
  • Monitor and support server and workstation security across European branch offices.
  • Oversee Azure security management and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Align European technical security policies with global security standards.
  • Conduct and contribute to security assessments, audits, and incident response efforts.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, IT security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, directory services, storage systems, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with ISO 27001, NIST security frameworks, and regulated industries.
  • Proven ability to work across business lines, influencing security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure security management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or similar (preferred).
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent work experience.
