Construction Discipline Superintendent

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Discipline Superintendent to join our team at SBM Offshore. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of supervisors and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality plans are understood and implemented by supervisors and inspectors, and that quality verification documentation is reviewed and approved.
- Project Management: Monitor yard productivity and manpower assignment to ensure construction schedule milestones are met, and ensure that manufacturing data records are maintained and approved.
- Collaboration and Communication: Interface with supply chain to ensure required on-site materials are respected, and assist material controllers in performing receiving inspections of materials and equipment.
- Education: Bachelor's or college degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record in handling industrial automation projects as a technical lead.
- Skills: Familiarity with working across engineering disciplines in an EPC environment, experience in structure fabrication, assembly, and erection, qualification in welding, NDE, and rigging and heavy lifting.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of quality management processes, blasting and painting, and regulatory and classification society requirements for FPSO modules construction.
