About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Fixed and Floating Structures team. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for executing structural and hydrodynamic analyses of offshore structures, including global and local (linear) analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute structural and hydrodynamic analyses of offshore structures, including global and local (linear) analyses.
- Advanced analyses such as frequency and time domain analyses along with non-linear analyses for structures exposed to extreme loads.
- Capacity evaluations of offshore steel structures for ultimate, fatigue and accidental limit state conditions.
- Structural reassessment and life extension of offshore structures due to ageing, degradation or changes in the design premises.
- Programming to ensure effective work processes and develop new applications for future demands.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a major in Structural Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FE analyses and structural assessments, including linear structural analyses, non-linear FE analyses, hydrodynamic analyses, dynamic analyses, and frequency/time-domain analyses.
