Mechanical Field Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Field Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a Mechanical Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our production team in installation work, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Installation Support: Provide technical assistance to the production team during installation work, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  2. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards, and identify and report any non-conformities.
  3. Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve any technical issues that arise during installation, and implement solutions that meet the project's requirements.
  4. Materials Management: Oversee the management of materials on site, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and that any additional materials required are sourced promptly.
  5. Project Coordination: Liaise with the project team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and that the project is delivered to the required standard.
  6. Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring that all team members are working together effectively to achieve project goals.
  7. Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with NES Fircroft's health, safety, and environmental policies, and that all team members are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.

Requirements:

  1. Education: A technical diploma or degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering projects to the required standard.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in IFS10 and NavisWork software, with experience of PIMS preferred.
  4. Language: Fluency in English, with Norwegian language skills preferred.
