We are seeking a highly skilled Norwegian medical professional to participate in a speech recognition project focused on improving the accuracy of medical terminology recognition for the Norwegian language. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and performing scripted medical conversations in Norwegian with an actor acting as the patient.

This project aims to develop and enhance the accuracy of a cutting-edge speech recognition system for medical use. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the development of cutting-edge speech recognition technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and perform scripted medical conversations in Norwegian with an actor acting as the patient.
  • Ensure all medical terminology is pronounced correctly and clearly for optimal audio quality.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain high standards of recording and ensure the data meets the project requirements.
  • Participate in recording sessions scheduled remotely or at designated locations, if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A medical degree or relevant qualification in the healthcare field (e.g., doctor, nurse, or other medical professionals).
  • Native-level proficiency in Norwegian.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and its proper pronunciation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to perform scripted conversations naturally.
  • Experience in audio recordings or voice work is a plus but not required.
