About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Piping Stress & Design Engineer to join our team for one of our customers based in Bergen. As a key member of our EPC projects and studies team, you'll be responsible for participating in piping stress analyses, designing piping with associated pipe supports and layout, preparing specifications for the procurement of static mechanical packages, and interacting with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients.
Main Responsibilities
Piping stress analyses and system designSpecification preparation for procurement of static mechanical packagesCollaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project goalsSite inspections on oil and gas installations, both onshore and offshoreRequirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience from oil and gas project work is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling (Aveva E3D / AutoCAD Plant 3D)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
