About the Role

Gulf Agency Company is seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our Freight Logistics Department. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and company strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately register logistics assignments in our data systems
  • Book and arrange transport and onboard deliveries to vessels in port as well as reverse logistics from vessels to final consignees
  • Follow-up on assignments from start to finish
  • Communicate and cooperate with internal teams, clients, agents, and suppliers to provide excellent service
  • Invoice assignments
  • Follow-up on daily tasks and service requests to meet clients' needs and deadlines
  • Cooperate with warehouse staff to ensure clients' stock is updated, in order, and prepared for scheduled forwarding
  • Perform other practical, administrative, and logistics-related tasks as you develop in the role
Requirements
  • Exhibit motivation and take initiative to achieve results
  • Have an attention to detail and precision that ensures quality work
  • Use structure and organization skills for greater efficiency
  • Take a problem-solving approach to new challenges
  • Have a passion for providing great service to customers and helping colleagues do the same
  • Exhibit proficient communication skills - written and verbal - in English
